Requirements
- Truck Movers driver applicants must have an unrestricted HR license or higher
- Applicants with a current MSIC will be considered more beneficial
- Applicants must have at least 5 years on highway and or metro driving experience
- Applicants must have a clean driving record and no major heavy vehicle violations
- Applicants who do interstate and longer distance moves will be required to fly on commercial airlines.
- All applicants must pass a satisfactory medical to operate heavy vehicles
- We have work in all states and territories of Australia
- We do not drive at night
- All drivers are prohibited from sleeping in trucks and a motel night are paid by Truck Movers
- All travel costs are paid for by Truck Movers
- Every hour driving and or traveling will be paid
- All drivers are paid per the only award that applies to the Truck Relocation Industry – the Road Transport Award MA 000038 which came into effect 1st July, 2018.

When you drive for Truck Moves, we offer a truly unique truck driving experience – no more hours spent at warehouses waiting to be loaded or unrealistic delivery times. Most of the time you drive one way and fly home.
No loading or unloading, no freight.
When you drive for Truck Moves, the majority of vehicles are brand new and pre registration being delivered directly to or from their place of manufacture, purchase or sale. We will never ask you to move freight, that’s not what we do.
We pay you for every hour driving and every hour travelling to or from a delivery.
We know this is a big issue for drivers employed in the Truck Relocation Industry. Truck Moves pays you for every hour driving and travelling as per the Road Transport & Distribution Award hourly rates by grade of vehicle, including any overtime and other allowances. We pay you for every hour you work, even when unforeseen delays occur and you might have to wait around for a truck to be ready or a flight delayed. We know that the majority of other companies are ripping off drivers by forcing them to work under ABN’s ( Sham contracting ) or sign IFA’s ( Invalid ) even before they start their employment, bluffing them into unfair agreements and then only pay a cents per kilometre and no travel time ‘when hands are off the wheel’, very often when overtime rates or holiday rates of pay are in effect under the award, meaning they lose hundreds of dollars every trip in some cases.
